60 Years of MatthewsDaniel: Relive the 70s with us

As the 1960s became the 1970s, the ownership of MatthewsDaniel changed hands and with that new investment cam the first presence in the London Insurance Market.  With an office now established in the heart of the global insurance market, MatthewsDaniel continued to grow and develop as an international adjusting and surveying company and the latter part of the decade saw further expansion into Singapore and Abu Dhabi.   

The Abu Dhabi office was the first of our entities to develop the early concept of what we know today as the Marine Warranty Surveyor, capitalising on the burgeoning offshore construction market in the region.  Meanwhile, the newly found Singapore office, alongside traditional energy adjusting, was developing a healthy line of business providing surveying services to Hull & Machinery insurers and P&I clubs. 

MatthewsDaniel are proud to have been on the leading edge of innovation in offshore energy and marine insurance services for 60 years.  As we celebrate this key milestone in our journey, we continue to innovate for the future and work with our clients and partners on addressing their needs for the next 60 years
