Roberta is a Chemical Engineer, postgraduate in Petroleum Engineer and also holds a Master´s degree in Mechanical Engineer, bringing over a decade of experience in the Energy market. As a Schlumberger Field Engineer, she mainly worked offshore on drilling rigs performing well testing and oil sampling operations, and also had the opportunity to work abroad in different countries, such as Scotland, Cameroon, Congo, Ghana, Equatorial Guinea, Ivory Coast, Nigeria and Brazil. She joined Matthews Daniel as a Loss Adjuster in September 2014, dealing with complex losses, mainly in the maritime and oil & gas industry and, on May 2023, she assumed the Director position of the Matthews Daniel Loss Adjusting Operations in Brazil.

Matheus brings a unique blend of engineering prowess and strategic management expertise to the table. With a background in Mechanical Engineering and an ongoing MBA in Strategic Management of Production and Maintenance, Matheus embarked on his professional journey at a renowned Shipyard in Brazil, where he gained invaluable experience in vessel maintenance and inspection. His expertise covers a wide spectrum of activities, from hull inspection to construction, propulsion, and navigation systems. Now, as a part of MatthewsDaniel since mid-2023, Matheus is based in our Brazilian office and actively contributes to handling major losses in the Oil and Gas & Marine sector. His knowledge and dedication are invaluable assets to our team.

Taís holds a degree in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from UFRJ, Brazil, and brings over a decade of experience, including vessel construction, classification, and insurance expertise. As a Bureau Veritas plan approval engineer, Taís ensured vessels met the highest safety standards. She's also skilled in valuing fiberglass boats, yachts, and recreational boat insurance claims. Taís joins us to support our Rio de Janeiro office on offshore and onshore claims, strengthening our team's maritime and insurance capabilities.
